Feb 2024
Grace began compiling a list of size-inclusive brands & said, "If I need this list, maybe my community does too."
Aug 2024
The list was published as the Plus-Size Database--a simple database spreadsheet with 300+ entries.
Early 2025
Y'all went ga-ga for the database!! Grace quickly realized that it needed a major overhaul to grow exponentially & sustainably.
Jan 2026
The Plus-Size Database relaunched as Fat Haven, a fully optimized directory website.
Future
Fat Haven is built to last & will support the directory as it grows from 358 to 500... 1,000... 10,000+ entries.

Incredible humans have been doing the work of advocating for & connecting various communities, including our Fat community, for decades!! I am so grateful for the people & organizations who have done, or are still doing, similar work. While I will work tirelessly to make Fat Haven the most comprehensive resource I'm capable of creating, I will also always highlight & celebrate other creators making Fat Liberation more accessible.
